Swerve Strickland: When The Time Is Right, I Have A Score To Settle With Bryan Danielson, He Owes Me

Swerve Strickland wants his lick back.

In October 2023, Bryan Danielson fought and defeated Swerve Strickland in a highly anticipated bout before Strickland realized his dream and won the AEW World Championship earlier this year. Since then, both men have been involved in triumphant matches for All Elite Wrestling.

During an appearance on News4Jax, the current AEW World Champion Strickland had this to say about the ‘American Dragon’ as he enters his final full-time year.

“Hopefully he’s doing okay, because I saw the match [with Will Ospreay]. Hopefully he’s doing okay. When the time is right for him to come back, I have a score to settle with him because we faced off on Dynamite and I lost in that match. He owes me.”

Strickland is currently involved in a feud with former TNT Champion Christian Cage while Danielson is currently recovering from his dream match against Will Ospreay from AEW Dynasty.
