Austin Theory: Tyson Fury, If You Feel Like Putting The Donuts Down, You Can Step Up To Me At Clash At The Castle 2024
Austin Theory has not forgotten what happened to him.
In 2022, Clash at the Castle featured Austin Theory attempting to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the middle of Roman Reigns’ title defense against Drew McIntyre. The plan for Theory failed when his face was confronted by the knockout blow from the lineal heavyweight champion of boxing, Tyson Fury.
During a conversation with Bodyslam.net and Irish Wrestling & Entertainment’s Mark O’Brien, Theory made a bold callout to Fury for this year’s edition of Clash at the Castle, here is what he had to say.
“You know, when I hear Clash of the Castle, I only think of one person, and that is Tyson Fury. Unfortunately, last time I was there, he sucker punched me. Unfortunately, last time I was there, he cost me becoming the WWE Champion. I would have already been the WWE champion if it wasn’t for Tyson Fury. So when I think of Clash of the Castle, I think that Tyson Fury should show up. I think Austin Theory’s gonna show up because I’m everywhere with the WWE. I’m always there, I’m always on the grind. But Tyson, if you feel like putting those donuts down, you wanna step up, come stand beside a real man, a man with so many abs that you wish you just had one, show up to Clash of the Castle. That’s all I wanna talk about when it comes to Clash of the Castle. So let’s see what happens, cause I’ll be there, I’ll be a champion. Tyson Fury will. Hopefully he’s in shape.”
Theory is currently 1/2 of the WWE World Tag Team Champions alongside Grayson Waller, the two successfully won the gold at WrestleMania 40 and have defended the gold against the Street Profits.
