WWE NXT Staying On Tuesdays After CW Move
NXT has inked a five-year media rights deal with The CW, valued between $20 million and $25 million per year, marking a 70% increase from its previous contract with NBCUniversal’s USA Network. NXT is making the move to The CW, but fans can relax; the show will still air on Tuesday nights.
WWE has announced new television deals, detailing the upcoming changes for NXT. Starting in October, NXT will shift to The CW network while maintaining its Tuesday night slot. Fans won’t need to change their viewing habits.
Additionally, WWE confirmed that SmackDown will continue airing on Fridays as it transitions to The USA Network in mid-September. RAW will stay on USA Network until the end of the year, before moving entirely to Netflix.
