Brian Myers: I Never Trademarked The Learning Tree, If Chris Jericho Wants It, I Don’t Give A Shit About It

Brian Myers is content with not using the Learning Tree.

Since joining TNA, Brian Myers has been part of stables such as The Learning Tree in 2021-2022 and The System which he is currently with alongside his TNA World Tag Team Champion teammate Eddie Edwards. But in AEW, Chris Jericho has used the Learning Tree stable name for the last few months alongside Big Bill.

During a conversation with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Myers was asked his thoughts on Jericho using his stable name and what he thinks about it, you can read the full quotes below.

“Here‘s my thoughts on that. When that was said or whatever on television, I was on a family vacation, about as disconnected from wrestling and my phone as I’ve been in years, having a wonderful time. My timeline and mentions blew up, and I couldn’t have given a fucking shit about it, so there’s your answer. I don’t give a shit. I never trademarked it. If Chris wants it, he can have it. We have the same fucking trademark lawyer. He can have at it. The Learning Tree in TNA Wrestling was super fun and something I thought was really growing and clicking and being a very entertaining part of the show. But ultimately, it doesn’t matter to me because The System right now is literally the biggest thing on the show, so what do I care about The Learning Tree?” Myers said.

Jericho won the FTW Championship from HOOK at AEW Dynasty in an FTW Rules match, since then, he has retained the title against Katsuyori Shibata.
