Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion Marigold got off to a great start as it held the inaugural event Marigold Fields Forever in front of a sold out crowd at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The six match card featured former STARDOM talent including Giulia, Utami Hayashishita, Mirai & Mai Sakauri as well as top star Sareee.
Each match was well received by the over 1500 fans in attendance and fans watching on Wrestle Universe. Despite all the star power on the event, it was Bozilla, who was making her debut in Japan, that stole the show and electrified the crowd. Bozilla teamed with Sareee in the main event as they defeated Giulia and Hayashishita. There were loud Bozilla chants throughout the encounter as the crowd seemed to have fallen in love with the talent the debuting star was exhibiting.
Ogawa went on to call Bozilla the MVP of the event and compared her to Megan Bayne indicating that he thought she might be similar to Bayne, but then concluded that she was actually different.
Bozilla responded on X to Ogawa calling her the MVP of Marigold Fields Forever:
Social media was abuzz as fans showered Bozilla with well deserved praise for her stellar performance. It will be very interesting to see if Bozilla can capitalize on her success and become a Marigold megastar. There are many fans who believe that she can and the author of this article is one of those fans.
