Damian Priest: I Want To Be The Type Of Champion That Seth Rollins Was, I Want To Be A Workhorse

Damian Priest respects what Seth Rollins has done.

Before he was able to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Damian Priest watched as Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the finals against AJ Styles before going on a run where he defended the gold against any and everybody.

Rollins would go on to lose it on the second night of WrestleMania XL against longtime rival, Drew McIntyre moments before Priest cashed in and won the gold from the Scottish Psychopath with some help from CM Punk.

In an appearance on the Rob Brown Show, Priest praised the run that Rollins had, even going as far as to say that he wants to do what Rollins did during his reign as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

“I want to be the type of champion that Seth Rollins was, a workhorse. I want to defend the title. I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point. When it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody. I want a piece of everybody. It’s usually the opposite,” Priest said.

Priest is set to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.
