Anthony Bowens Compares Feud Between Acclaimed And Gunns To Batman And The Joker, Says They’ll Be Fighting Each Other Forever

Everybody loves the Acclaimed.

Whether they were teaming up or going at each other’s throats. The history between the Acclaimed and the Gunns is well-known to fans of AEW. Formerly known as the Bang Bang Scissor Gang before they got turned on by Jay White and the Gunns, it has been the Acclaimed and Gunns who believe they’ll forever fight each other.

During a conversation on The Mark Hoke Pro Wrestling Show, Bowens compared the rivalry between the Acclaimed and the Gunns to Batman and the Joker, simply stating that they are going to fight forever.

“I mean, they just betrayed us again before and took our titles away, so I think it’s kind of like that Batman/Joker vibe where we’re just gonna have to fight forever [laughs],” Bowens said.

White and the Gunns defeated Billy Gunn and the Acclaimed to win the AEW World Trios Championships at AEW Dynasty this past April.
