The pro wrestling fans living in the Windsor/Essex/Leamington area in Ontario were starving for a live event to be held in their vicinity. On June 1st, Noble Champions Group Wrestling satisfied that hunger as they held their inaugural event “In Your Town” at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Center in Leamington, Ontario. The show was a huge success as there was a packed house of 500-600 pumped up fans ready to enjoy a night of stellar pro wrestling action and that’s exactly what they got.
The opening bout of the event was a Gauntlet match that featured Kevin Blackwood, Giant Orion, Space Monkey, MV Young, Damian Chambers, Bryce Hansen, Ethan Dux, Gianni Emricko & Isaiah Prince. The first match was crucial to set the stage for what the fans were to expect for the rest of the evening and the talent in the opening bout did not disappoint. The crowd was excited for the first match, which was evident in their vocal participation and the electricity could be felt throughout the entire building.
The match of the night could have very well been the Fatal Fourway bout between TNA star Ace Austin, Former NXT UK star Rohan Raja, TNA Star Jason Hotch and Damian Chambers. There were plenty of “this is awesome” chants throughout the encounter which were well deserved.
TNA World Champion Moose had the crowd fully behind him as he had an outstanding match with indy superstar Kevin Blackwood. One talent that really impressed the crowd was MV Young, who was relatively unknown to the fans in the area but that is not the case anymore. Young and Tony Gunn had a terrific street fight that really “wowed” all the fans in attendance.
New champions were crowned as Stone Rockwell defeated Giant Orion to become the first ever NCG Champion in an exciting main event. Selezyia Sparks got past Nikita in a tough bout to win the NCG Women’s Title to earn the distinction of being the inaugural women’s titleholder for NCG Wrestling.

- Main Event: NCG Championship: Stone Rockwell defeated Giant Orion to become the first ever NCG World Champion
- Sherk Street Fight: Tony Gunn defeated MV Young
- TNA World Champion Moose defeated Kevin Blackwood
- Fatal Fourway For North American Contendership: Ace Austin defeated Jason Hotch, Rohan Raja and Damian Chambers
- NCG Women’s Championship: Seleziya Sparks defeated Nikita to become the first ever NCG Women’s Champion
- Kongo Kong defeated Zeeko
- Rhino defeated Gianni Emricko
- Battle Royal Gauntlet for Noble Crown and Right To Face Stone Rockwell in NCG Championship Main Event: Giant Orion was the winner of the Gauntlet. Other participants included Kevin Blackwood, Space Monkey, MV Young, Damian Chambers, Bryce Hansen, Ethan Dux, Gianni Emricko & Isaiah Prince.
Overall the show was well received by all the fans that attended and quite frankly made them to only want more of NCG Wrestling. The next NCG Wrestling event “Bad Temper” is set for August 31st back at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Center. It has already been announced that TNA World Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will be appearing at the event.
If this inaugural event is a sign of things to come for the new promotion, it is safe to say that the fans of the Windsor/Essex/Leamington Ontario area can expect stellar pro wrestling action for years to come from NCG Wrestling.
