Rey Mysterio: The Perfect Opponent For Me To Put My Mask On The Line Against Is My Son Dominik Mysterio
Rey Mysterio knows who he would put his mask on the line against.
In back-to-back years at WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio has fought and defeated his son Dominik Mysterio in singles and tag team action to go up two to nothing in their rivalry at the grandest stage of them all.
During an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Rey spoke about putting his mask on the line one day and who he would want to battle in the ring, you can read the full quote below.
“The perfect scenario is that Dom would be the right person,” Rey told Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports when asked about a retirement bout. “And not necessarily to retire me but put what matters most to me on the line and that’s my mask. It’s something I’d be willing to do.”
Both father and son are part of the WWE Raw brand, however, Dominik is currently out of action with an injury and Rey recently lost to Damian Priest, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the main event of WWE Raw.
