Two New NJPW Young Lions To Make Debuts At New Japan Soul 2024

At the June 16th New Japan Pro-Wrestling New Japan Soul 2024 Night 1 event, two new Young Lions are set to make their pro wrestling in ring debuts.

Young Lions Masatora Yasuda and Daiki Nagai will face each other in a ten minute kickoff match to get New Japan Soul 2024 underway at the Hokkai Kita Yell venue.

Yasuda, a second generation wrestler, was born in Mexico but has made his home in Sapporo since he was three years old. His dad is the luchador Zumbido who currently competes in Mexico. Yasuda who is 24, was accepted into the NJPW Dojo back in 2020 but suffered an injury which forced him to withdraw from the Dojo. He returned in 2022 to refocus on his career with NJPW.

Nagai, 21 years of age, joined the NJPW Dojo back in April 2023. He joined the Japan Self Defence Forces right after high school. His military training played an integral role in preparing him to compete in a professional wrestling ring.
