TNA Notes: Office/Backstage Roles Revealed, Big Change Talent Are Happy With + Details

Many fans have been wondering in recent weeks how things are working backstage with recent changes and movement within and out of the company.

Now, it seems we’ve got some clarification on some of it.

PWInsider.com is reporting that:

Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer is the one leading the day to day and has gotten good marks from talent for his communication skills as he’s regularly in contact with talents.

We’ve heard from a number of talents that leading into tomorrow’s Against All Odds PPV that they’ve heard from management and creative as to their direction and what they are likely set to do in Chicago, which is not something that had regularly happened until late.

TNA President Anthony Cicione is less involved in the day to day and is overseeing the business side of things more than anything in creative. Creative falls more to Shnerer.

Cicone is believed to be the person involved in continuing to build the WWE NXT relationship. He would be the person in charge at the end of the day but Shnerer is the one deep in the trenches, so to speak.

Gail Kim is very much the head of Talent Relations at this point, which makes sense as she’s likely the most respected person in the TNA locker room.

Tommy Dreamer, Jorge Barbosa and Delirious work on the creative with Shnerer overseeing and Kim also giving input. The creative process has remained the same after RD Evans’ exit. There is no “official” head of creative but more of a team that is working together as opposed to one person’s vision.

Also revealed recently was who is believed to be booking venues and handling live events following the Lou D’Angeli departure.

The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that Greg Bagarozy has been the point person booking venues for the company in recent weeks. Bagarozy has worked with ECW and MLW, among other companies in the past and has been working with TNA for quite some time.

This comes after TNA revealed their complete “Total Nonstop Summer” tour a few days ago, announcing dates and venues for events up until their Bound For Glory PPV in October – which will be revealed in one week – June 20th.
