Christian Cage: I Don’t Apologize For Anything That I’ve Said In The Ring Or On TV

Christian Cage is never sorry about anything he’s done.

Since turning heel, Christian Cage has been the biggest menace of society on the All Elite Wrestling roster. The most notable digs he has done is mentioning the dead fathers of his opponents during his promos.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Cage went into detail on how he gets away with certain comments he’s made and if he’s ever apologized for anything he’s ever said on AEW TV.

“Not really because I’ve never told anybody what I’m going to say. I’ve never had to clear it with anybody. I’ve never asked anybody. I just go out there and do it. It’s one of those things. You have to be willing to go places others are unwilling to go in order to stand out, especially in this day and age. I saw an opportunity that I can jump on. I took it and rode it. Sometimes things happen that you’re not expecting to happen. I said one phrase and it turned into a wildfire. I just embraced it and ran with it,” he said.

Asked if he thinks he’s ever taken it too far, Christian replied, “I don’t apologize for anything that I’ve said.”

Christian has been the father figure of Killswitch and Nick Wayne for almost a full year now and since then, he’s had them involved in every single feud he’s had with the likes of Adam Copeland and Swerve Strickland.
