The Miz wants to make sure everything feels perfect with what he is doing.
In the last two decades, the Miz has gone from a rookie TV host to a multi-time champion with a long list of accolades to his name. Now, the most must-see WWE Superstar feels it’s his job to keep elevating what he’s doing in the WWE.
During an interview with 96.5 KISS FM, The Miz was asked about his current run as one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions with R-Truth, here is his full quote below.
“I feel like I’ve done everything there is to do in WWE. Now, my job as the veteran of WWE, is to elevate whatever I’m doing. Right now, I’m the World Tag Team Champions with R-Truth. The idea is to elevate that title. I always say, the superstar makes the title, the title doesn’t make the superstar. In order to have the title, you need to elevate the division and elevate every person that gets in the ring with you, so when we’re there at SummerSlam and putting on that show, people are going to take away memories that are going to last a lifetime. They will see our titles be defended, I’m hoping. You never know what matches are going to happen at SummerSlam, but you know it’s going to make an impact,” said Miz.
SummerSlam is set to be held in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3 at the Cleveland Browns Stadium.
