TNA Confirms Signing Of New Tag Team, A Few Matches + Meet & Greet Information For Philadelphia TV Tapings Revealed
Moments ago during the Fightful Overbooked “In The Weeds” show, Joel Pearl & Jeremy Lambert announced that a top Canadian tag team has officially signed with TNA Wrestling.
Sean added a little more to the post on the Fightful Select tier:
“Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds spoke with the duo and confirmed they’ve signed with TNA Wrestling.
The team, consisting of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams have stood out on the Canadian independent scene. We’re told they made a good impression upon their initial TNA appearances.”
TNA took to their own social media Twitter account to confirm the news.
The duo first appeared on TNA television on the 5/23 TNA iMPACT episode where they took on The Rascalz. Sinner & Saint did not win the match, but had a great showing.
Their most recent match was a victory over the team of Quintero and Torero on TNA Xplosion, which aired last Friday.
Also revealed yesterday, Matt Hardy took to his social media Twitter account to reveal that on Friday, he and his wife – Reby Sky – will team up to take on The System’s Eddie & Alisha Edwards.
Reby Hardy got involved in Matt’s World Title Match at Against All Odds after Alisha Edwards attacked her husband during the match.
On Saturday, Matt will team with his brother Jeff to take on the current TNA Tag Team Champions, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards representing The System.
Jeff Hardy made his triumphant return to TNA Wrestling after the TNA World Title Match at Against All Odds was over to help his brother Matt – who was being battered by all members of The System.

Friday, June 28 post-show:
Mustafa Ali – Ali is the current TNA X Division champion, and undefeated in TNA since defeating Chris Sabin on the 3/14 episode. Ali most recently had a successful defense against Trent Seven after a great match between the two at the Against All Odds PLE.
Jordynne Grace – Grace is the current TNA Knockouts World Champion, and has been on a tear through the Knockouts division since defeating Trinity for the belt back in January at the Hard To Kill PPV. Grace has also recently appeared on WWE NXT television as a representative of TNA.
Mike Santana – Santana has looked great since his return to TNA at the Rebellion PPV about two months ago. Santana is on a quest for the TNA World Title and looks to take on Frankie Kazarian this week as part of a World Title qualifier match for Slammiversary.
Joe Hendry – Joe is riding probably the biggest high of his life and career right now with his “I Believe iN Joe Hendry” song topping charts and trending worldwide, as well as his recent appearance on WWE NXT show last Tuesday.
Saturday, June 29 post-show:
Matt & Jeff Hardy – the Hardy Boys will team up this weekend for the first time since early 2017. The brothers will look to become TNA tag champs
Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich — the current TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions after beating Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) for those titles at the LIVE Under Siege PLE back on 5/3. This was somewhat of a random pairing, but the pair has figured out how to co-exist. They recently successfully defended the titles against the team of The Hex (Marti Belle & Allysin Kay) at the LIVE Against All Odds PLE last Friday, 6/14.
