John Cena knows the end is near.
At the age of 47, John Cena is focused on making the most of every opportunity he gets, even the ones where he knows the end is near on the chapter he’s built for most of his life with the WWE.
“I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started,” Cena said in an interview with PEOPLE. “Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating. So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life — it’s year 23 for me — and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”
The last match Cena recently competed in was alongside the Awesome Truth (Miz and R-Truth) to defeat the Judgement Day’s Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio on the Raw After WrestleMania XL.
