Mustafa Ali Set To Defend TNA X Division Title Against “Speedball” Mike Bailey At Slammiversary PPV
During tonight’s TNA iMPACT broadcast, Mustafa Ali came out to address the crowd about the video that aired during Against All Odds almost two weeks ago where he was talking crap about Chicago, his alleged hometown. Ali said the video is fake, and then gets down to business.
Ali says that he wants a new challenger from this locker room or any other. Some fans start chanting “Speedball”, and he tells them to stop. He tries to get security to throw them out of the venue. One fan throws water on Ali, and then Ali attacks the fan and pulls him over the guard rail.
Ali throws the fan into the ring and continues the beating. Mike Bailey slides into the ring and makes the save. Trent Seven quickly follows.
Ali and Bailey battle and then are held by security. Ali runs around the outside of the ring and attacks Bailey as he’s getting out. Ali says that Bailey ruined his homecoming, so he’s going to ruin Bailey’s homecoming at Slammiversary when they battle for the TNA X Division Title.
The match is made official.
