Earlier tonight during the weekly TNA iMPACT broadcast, two TNA World Title qualifier matches took place. Steve Maclin defeated Sami Callihan to earn his spot.
In the Main Event of the show, we saw a first-time ever matchup between Nic Nemeth & Rich Swann. Nemeth got the better of Swann and therefore, was added to the TNA World Title match at Slammiversary, joining Maclin & Josh Alexander as challengers to Moose.
Last week, Santino Marella announced that Moose would be defending the World Title in a 6 Way Match, and later in the night Josh Alexander defeated Eric Young to earn his spot in the match. There are two open remaining spots.
Frankie Kazarian will battle Mike Santana, and Joe Hendry will face Jake Something for the remaining two spots in the match.
