Multiple WWE Superstars Auditioned For Role On Season 2 Of Peacock Series “Twisted Metal”

“I am Calypso, and I thank you for playing Twisted Metal.”

The popular Peacock Series Twisted Metal is set to begin filming their highly anticipated second season, and one new character set to debut could have been portrayed by a current WWE Superstar, as multiple wrestlers have reported auditioned for the role.

According to a report from PWInsider, WWE Superstars Omos, Cedric Alexander and Apollo Crews all auditioned for the role of Axel in the upcoming second season of the Peacock Series “Twisted Metal.” However, none of them ended up being cast for the part.

“PWInsider.com can also confirm that a number of WWE Stars auditioned for a new character named Axel including Omos, Cedric Alexander, and Apollo Crews.  We are told that the production is going forward without any of the WWE talents having been cast in the role.”

It has yet to be announced who will be playing the role of Axel in season 2 of Twisted Metal. Other new characters that are set to be introduced in the upcoming season include Dollface and Mr. Grimm.

Former WWE Superstar, and current AEW Star Samoa Joe will also be back to reprise his role of Sweet Tooth in season 2 of Twisted Metal. Samoa Joe was written off TV on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, so he can return to filming which is set to run through October of this year.
