Last week on the TNA iMPACT broadcast, TNA Knockouts World Champion issued an Open Challenge to her title for this week. Grace laid out the challenge to “anybody from any company.”
Moments ago, to kick off the episode, WWE NXT star Izzi Dame answered the Open Challenge and battled Grace for her TNA Knockouts World Title.
Although she fell short, this is the second time an opponent from NXT showed up to try and dethrone Grace.
NXT star Tatum Paxley answered Grace’s open challenge at the LIVE Against All Odds event on 6/18. Paxley fell short as well, but came out through the prohibited portal anyway.
Jordynne Grace is set to defend her TNA Knockouts World Title against Ash By Elegance at Slammiversary on 7/20.
TNA’s next event – Slammiversary – has about 3,500 tickets sold to the event on 7/20 in Montreal, Canada.
