CM Punk: Whether You Hate Or Love Me, I’m Coming Back To Enjoy All The Moments That Were Robbed From Me

CM Punk wants to take advantage of all the opportunities he can in the WWE.

CM Punk has been in a heated rivalry since last November with Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, the latter resulted in Punk suffering a tricep injury at Royal Rumble before Punk exacted his revenge at big events like WrestleMania 40, Clash at the Castle, and recently, Money in the Bank in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Punk was asked when he feels like it would be possible for him to return, here is what the former WWE Champion had to say.

“I like to keep people in suspense. I will say I feel great and I’m ready to go, and there are things in place to protect me against myself that I maybe wish were in place ten years ago, but we don’t need to talk about the past. Great personnel, great facilities. I’m busting my ass to get back, if I can steal what John was talking about, for the fans. Whether you hate me or love me, i’m coming back to enjoy all these moments that were robbed from me when I got injured. Shit happens. It’s a contact sport. It stinks. I’ve been working very hard to rush the rehab and come back. Everyone behind me has supported it, but they’ve also been like, ‘We’re not in a hurry.’ I love that,” said Punk during the press conference for Money in the Bank.

It would be later said by Jackie Redmond that Punk is not cleared to compete just yet, he has issued a challenge to McIntyre for SummerSlam this August.
