Muhammad Hassan Says He Was Supposed To Beat Undertaker And Then Batista At SummerSlam In 2005

Muhammad Hassan was almost a big star.

Muhammad Hassan took the microphone and made himself into a standout with his gimmick and the way he handled his business against the legends of WWE. Hassan was supposedly scheduled to defeat the Undertaker at the Great American Bash before he was supposed to win the World Heavyweight title against Batista at SummerSlam until plans changed very quickly.

“I know I heard that and I don’t know where it originally came from. But I was supposed to, as far as I know, beat the Undertaker, obviously with a lot of help and then wrestle Batista at [SummerSlam] in Washington, DC. Dave is from Washington, DC. So it was kind of like, the era of beats the hometown boy in the nation’s capital was supposed to be the story.” Hassan said while speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast

Hassan would be let go after the Great American Bash due to situations that were out of his control, he would go on to lose his final match to the Undertaker before the WWE released him from his contract.
