Spokesperson For Vince McMahon Issues Statement On Janel Grant’s Petition For Pre-Action Discovery Against Dr. Colker, And Peak Wellness, Inc.
A Spokesperson for Vince McMahon has issued a statement regarding Janel Grant’s petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker, and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc.
Earlier today it was reported by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics and POST Wrestling‘s John Pollock that former WWE Employee Janel Grant’s lawyers filed a pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024.
Janel Grant is claiming that she was directed by Vince McMahon to go to Dr. Colker’s clinic in November 2019. She claims that she received treatments that were not disclosed to her. These treatments are said to have included pills, and I.V. infusions. Grant claims that when she asked Dr. Colker about the treatments being given to her, Colker was said to have pushed back and questioned whether or not Grant “trusted him.”
A spokesman for Vince McMahon sent the following statement to Wrestlenomics regarding today’s filing for pre-discovery.
“Ms. Grant’s petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker is a direct violation of the court-ordered stay, and nothing more than an attempt to generate publicity on her false allegations and to harass people connected to Mr. McMahon, who is being sued by Ms. Grant in a separate matter.
“The facts are that Ms. Grant told Mr. McMahon she was fatigued and asked him to recommend a doctor. Ms. Grant called Dr. Colker and became a patient of his. Her statement in the filing is inconsistent with her prior remarks. Ms. Grant never had anything but good things to say about the doctor when speaking to Mr. McMahon and others about him.”
It was reported back on May 30th, 2024 that Janel Grant and her attorney’s had agreed to pause the ongoing lawsuit against Vince McMahon for six months while the federal investigation continues.
