HUGE Contract Signing, Hardy Boyz Reunite, Knockouts Action — Go-Home Episode To Slammiversary — TNA iMPACT Results — July 18, 2024
-No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Miles Borne, Tavion Heights) vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) & Kushida kicking off the show.
Jonathan Gresham comes out from the back and gets Kushida’s attention. Kushida runs after Gresham, who scurries away to the back, leaving Trey & Wentz outnumbered.
No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Miles Borne, Tavion Heights) def. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) & Kushida when the numbers game proves too much for Wentz & Trey to overcome.
Trey gets thrown outside of the ring and then Wentz is left at the mercy of all three opponents.
Xia Brookside def. Alisha Edwards (w/Masha Slamovich) with a Brooksie-Bomb after Spitfire takes out Masha at ringside.
We get a recap videa featuring Mike Santana ahead of their match tonight.
We see a clip of Mustafa Ali getting attacked in his vehicle by Speedball Mike Bailey.
Bailey comes out to the ring, Bailey says Ali took out Trent Seven and he wants to get revenge right now.
Ali appears on the video screen and says he will put Bailey through a “secret service gauntlet”; if he wins Ali will give Bailey his fight.
Multiple secret service make their way out and the bell rings. Bailey takes out all of the secret service in pretty quick fashion.
Bailey ends up fighting Campaign Singh, and then gets attacked by a masked Mustafa Ali, who looks out like one of his security guards. Ali attacks the referee and made him do the 3 count.
Mustafa Ali comes to the back and says that he is rescinding his challenge to Mike Bailey and the match wont happen. Santino walks up and says the match is still on because the match that just took place did not happen.
TNA Tag Team Titles
The System def. The Hardy Boyz via DQ after JDC made his way out and pushed Jeff Hardy off the top rope when he attempted a Swanton Bomb.
JDC and The System dismantle Jeff Hardy on the outside, putting his head in a chair and smashing it into the ring post on the outside. Security rushes out as does medical staff to assess Jeff. Jeff has a neck brace put on him and is put on a stretcher and taken out of the arena.
JDC vs. Mike Santana
A few minutes into the match, we get a clip backstage of Jeff Hardy being placed into an ambulance on the stretcher. Elsewhere, Matt gets word that his wife Reby Hardy is down. Matt goes searching for her, and when he finds her she’s holding her arm and saying that JDC attacked her.
We go back to the ring where both men are beating the crap out of each other.
JDC def. Mike Santana via disqualification after Mike Santana beats JDC down with multiple chairshots on the outside of the ring.
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace sits down with Tom Hannifan to discuss her match at Slammiversary against Ash By Elegance, as well as experiencing both the TNA rebrand and being the first person from the company to collaborate and appear with WWE.
We get a clip of Ash’s Personal Concierge George Iceman talking to Ash on the phone backstage, when Rosemary creeps up behind him.
Contract Signing
Santino Marellas is overseeing the contract signing. He calls out all of the competitors in this matchup. Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian, Joe Hendry, and Moose all make their way out to the ring one at a time.
Santino provides a video update on Nic Nemeth. Nemeth says he has a partially torn labrum, but will be medically cleared and will compete at Slammiversary. All 5 men sign the contract one at a time.
AJ Francis and Rich Swann interrupt the contract signing and make their way out to the ring. Francis says this match is pegged at the Main Event, but that’s impossible because he is defending the Digital Media Title in the Main Event of Slammiversary. AJ says that this 6 Way match will be a great opener for the rest of the show.
PCO is lurking ringside, and climbs in. He confronts AJ and clears them both out of the ring.
The other five competitors go after each other as mayhem breaks out inside and outside of the ring. The show ends up Joe Hendry putting Moose through the table with a STANDING OVATION.
Who will walk out as the TNA World Champion at Slammiversary? We’ll have to tune in this Saturday.
