Big Poppa Pump says he is clean.
After turning his back on his brother Rick in WCW, Scott Steiner transformed himself into the man we know him as today, Big Poppa Pump. Many fans would go on to believe for the next couple decades that Scott was using steroids to reach the physical look that he has, however, Scott says his use of steroids is a complete lie.
“You can make all the accusations you want. I’ve never failed a drug test,” Steiner stated when the topic of steroids were brought up on A&E Biography: WWE Legends. “Take that information and do what you want with it. When I made the transition from Steiner Brothers to Big Poppa Pump, I wanted to get in the best shape I possibly could. A lot of strict diet. Once you are leaner, you’re naturally going to look bigger.”
Steiner previously told Slam Sports, “I’ve never failed a drug test in my life. When WWE told me to take one, I told them to have Triple H pick me up in a limo. We could go test together. (laughs) They never asked again!”
In 2022, the Steiner Brothers were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Currently, Scott’s nephew Bron Breakker is making an impact in the WWE and has an opportunity to become Intercontinental champion against Sami Zayn at SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio.
