Thank you, Val Venis.

On August 2nd, 2024, Val Venis has now become the most loved name in all of wrestling history. Let me explain why.

I am not talking about Sean Morely, the man formerly known as Val Venis. Yes, I said “formerly“.

Sean Morely is a former professional wrestler who has indescribably become a terrible human being. He preached anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda on his social media pages, especially against transgender human beings and bombarding them as so-called “demons” plagued with the “anti-woke virus”. He posts pictures of himself on his Instagram and X/Twitter page with a shirt on that says “Hello Biological Ladies” with his former Val Venis trademark. He also tags LGBTQ+ allies (including one in particular, which we will get to in a moment) and posts “heartfelt” prayers to be delivered from this “virus” in the name of Jesus Christ. What Sean failed to realize, is that Jesus has stated in the Bible to love everyone. Literally EVERYONE. This includes, your neighbor, your enemies, your supporters, men, women, African American, Caucasian, people who speak a different language than you do, and people from all walks of life. This includes people in the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

Don’t believe me? Here are a few that you can happily bombard Mr. Morely on his socials (if he’s man enough to unlock his pages again) or any person who is hateful next time they needs to pray for being who you are and be the person who you want to be:

• John 15:12-13: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

• John 13:34: “I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another.”

• Romans 13:10: “Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

• Leviticus 19:18: “Love your neighbor.”

• Luke 10:29–37: Jesus’ story that a neighbor is anyone God places in front of us

• Philippians 2:3-5: “Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”

• 1 Peter 4:8: “Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything.”

Now before we get too far into some biblical explanation on why Sean Morely is wrong about how he preaches God’s word in the name of hate and bigotry, let me say this:

I am a Christian. I am an ordained minister. I am also a wrestling fan. I am biromantic. I am goth. I cuss like a fucking sailor and collect crystals and other things that are deemed “occultic” in nature, when in reality I use these things as a way to appreciate God’s creation and beauty of life. I have a black cat. I love metal music as well as different types of music that is deemed strange and “weird” to most folks. But what I also am is a daughter of the God he claims to love and praise, but MY God is the one who forgives, the one who loves and honors as a human beings, and the one who cherishes each and every one of us as His creation.

I don’t know what kind of Bible Mr. Morely reads, or what kind of deity he thinks God is, but the God he serves is not the God you should serve. The God you should (or don’t, because I actually respect as love everyone’s religion or non-belief, and this is someone who was Christopagan) serve is one of love. The kind of love that we need today in this world, especially in recent years. This world is deemed with hatred, racism, transphobic agendas, and then some.

Now, you may ask, “What did you mean by ‘former Val Venis trademark’? What do you mean that ‘Val Venis is now the most loved name in wrestling history’?”

Enter Thevy Dianingana, also known as V on his X/Twitter @HaangEmHiigh. A wrestling fan from France who is a die-hard fan of Ilja Dragunov, and suspected to be a Triple H burner account (we’re onto you, Hollywood…).

After a meaningless back and forth with Sean and his transphobic views, V decided to do a little research.

It turned out that Sean’s working name of Val Venis has been abandoned by the WWE and Sean Morely himself since 2008. Yes, this name hasn’t been legally used in 16 years. Sean Morely still goes by Val Venis on his X/Twitter account as ValVenisEnt (now gone private due to him hiding away from his malicious mindset), which in reality, is considered as of now an illegal use of a trademarked moniker. No one, until today, has updated it or claimed it. So, Thevy decided to turn the abandoned name from something tarnished into something beautiful.

Val Venis is now an acronym for LGBTQ+ resources.

VAL= Valued Allies of LGBTQ+

VENIS = Vital Educational & Non-Judgemental Informational Services

After some help from Matt Koon (who claimed and bought the domain ValVenis.com some time ago to do the same thing) and Sean Ross Sapp, owner of Fightful.com, the website is now a source of help and positive outlook for people of all genders, sexuality, and walks of life.

One small crowdfunding source to obtain an attorney later, the name “Val Venis” can now be considered a good name and a good cause for all.

Thevy, as of today, August 2nd, 2024, now owns the name Val Venis as a legal trademark to use for the new website. ValVenis.com is now redirected to the new site with resources and numbers for the LGBTQ+ community, inspiring quotes about love and togetherness, and it also has merchandise like stickers made by fans and artists, with purchases going to charity.

Talk about turning a turd into a diamond, am I right?

This goes to show that hate will get you no where. That in this day and age, we should learn about why and how the LGBTQ+ community still thrives as people who just want to be accepted by their peers, their families, and the general public in itself.

It’s okay to be lesbian. It’s okay to be gay. It’s okay to be bi. It’s okay to be trans. It’s okay to be queer. It’s okay to be whoever you want to be and more. It’s all okay. It’s all going to be okay.

With that, please go to ValVenis.com and support the cause of the Valued Allies of LGBTQ+ and buy a sticker or two. You will definitely help spread the word about this lovely name that was once owned by a hateful being. The name is now owned by a person who shall get his flowers for being so damn petty, that he bought out a trademarked name from said hateful being to appreciate everyone and everything beautiful.

So thank you, Thevy/V. Thank you, Matt Koon. Thank you, Sean Ross Sapp. And thank you, Val Venis, for becoming a pinnacle of the LGBTQ+ community and such a charming place to be in.

Please go to ValVenis.com to learn more about this amazing cause. As a biromantic female, I appreciate you. I adore you.

Val Venis is now my favorite wre– no… my favorite charity of all time.

And that Sean Morely pack will be smoked heavily until I am seeing rainbows among the cloudy days and stormy nights.

Peace, love, and fuck Sean Morely (not literally, please, God, no!).
