Atsushi Kotoge to replace Shiozaki in 2024 N1 Victory
NOAH veteran to take place of injured Go Shiozaki.
In a pre-tournament press conference held by Pro Wrestling NOAH in preparation for their yearly N1 Victory round robin, the company announced that Atsushi Kotoge will replace Go Shiozaki in the tournament. Shiozaki was pulled from the annual tournament on 7/31 after suffering a thoracic vertebrae fracture. The former GHC Heavyweight champion stated at the press conference that the only reason he has decided to sit out the tournament is due to Kotoge’s recommendation.
Kotoge will now fill Shiozaki’s place in the A Block of the N1 Victory where he’ll face Masa Kitamiya, GHC Heavyweight champion Kaito Kiyomiya, Josh Briggs, and more with his first match against Dragon Bane slated to take place on night one of the tournament on 8/4.
