Yesterday, Fightful Select revealed that the TNA flagship PPV – Bound For Glory – will be held in Detroit, Michigan. No venue was revealed.
During tonight’s TNA iMPACT episode, the company revealed that Bound For Glory will be coming to Wayne State University Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan.
There were rumors swirling of an international location for this PPV, but those rumors never turned into anything more than that.
While searching Google for the seating capacity of this venue, here’s what was listed:
“The 70,000-square-foot arena is near the intersection of Warren and Trumbull avenues with seating capacity for approximately 3,000 fans, along with office space, locker room areas for both WSU’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, a concessions area, and other ancillary spaces.”
This could be a great venue to fit about 3,000 fans into, maybe more, and goes well with the 3,500-4,000 fans who attended Slammiversary in Montreal, Canada.
Tickets go on pre-sale Thursday, August 22nd at 9am central/10am Eastern time for TNA + subscribers. Tickets go on sale to get general public on Friday, August 23nd at 9am central/10am Eastern time.
