NOAH star pulled from annual tournament.

Ahead of night three of NOAH’s annual N1 Victory round robin tournament, the promotion announced, via X and their Japanese website, that A Block competitor Atsushi Kotoge would be forced to withdraw from the tournament with a neck injury. Kotoge was slated to face Masa Kitamiya in his third match of the tournament. This withdrawal comes after the former GHC Junior Heavyweight champion was selected as the replacement for Go Shiozaki who was similarly pulled from the tournament due to a vertebrae fracture.

The promotion clarified that Kotoge would be given a forfeit in all remaining tournament matches as he sits out the remainder of the N1 Victory. When the injury occurred nor the severity of the injury have been made public.
