Yuya Uemura pulled from NJPW G1 Climax 34
Young NJPW star removed from G1 Climax.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced via their Medium.com page that Yuya Uemura would have to be pulled from the remainder of the 34th G1 Climax. This announcement comes after Uemura sustained an apparent right arm injury during his night fourteen main event with Yota Tsuji.
The former KOPW provisional champion will finish the tournament with eight points in total as his last match on night sixteen against Oleg Boltin will be ruled a forfeit in Boltin’s favor. The promotion clarified that there is no current timetable for Uemura’s return.
