TNA Star Joe Hendry Interrupts NXT Champion Ethan Page, Claims He’s Coming For The NXT World Title – Triple Threat Match Official For 8/20 Episode
Ethan Page is out and before he can start talking, is interrupted by TNA star Joe Hendry. Page says he’s going to expose Hendry for the flash in the pan that he is. Hendry says everyone from Kurt Angle, Booker T, and “HBK” Shawn Michaels believes in him, and that Ethan will foo once he’s takes the NXT title from him.
Ethan gets out of the ring and Joe Hendry is attacked from behind by Wes Lee as the two stare each other down.
Later in the night, Wes Lee is out to explain his actions from earlier in the night attacking Joe Hendry, as well as long week when he turned on his former a Rascalz brothers, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel, as well as his intention to go after the NXT World Title.
Pete Dunne comes out and interrupts Wes, claiming his stake to the title as well. Joe Hendry’s music hits and he emerges from the crowd to attack both men from behind.
NXT General Manager Ava makes the match official for next week. Pete Dunne, Wes Lee, and Joe Hendry will all battle next week, with the winner getting a shot at Ethan Page for the NXT World Title at NXT No Mercy.
TNA Star Joe Hendry could get his first shot at NXT gold if he wins next week. This would be a great feat for both Joe and the company.
