Momo Watanabe claims spot on Capital Collision card.
In a promo uploaded to STARDOM’s X account, Momo Watanabe issued a challenge to reigning NJPW STRONG Women’s champion and TBS champion Mercedes Moné.
If made official, the match will be Moné’s first defense of the NJPW STRONG Women’s championship since winning it from Stephanie Vaquer at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 3. The challenge follows the addition of various matches to the upcoming card including a rematch of Windy City Riot’s junior heavyweight brawl of Hiromu Takahashi and Mustafa Ali and a NJPW STRONG tag team title contendership three way featuring the Grizzled Young Veterans.
