Bron Breakker: There Is No Doubt That Sami Zayn Is Going To Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame One Day

Bron Breakker has learned a lot from the former Intercontinental Champion.

Learning from his mistakes from their first match against each other in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bron Breakker faced off against Sami Zayn at SummerSlam and left no doubt why he was the next big thing, as Breakker defeated Zayn to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion in under five minutes.

When asked about his opponent during the SummerSlam post show, Breakker praised Zayn and said he does not doubt that the former champion will be in the WWE Hall of Fame once his career is all said and done.

“I’m gonna carry this championship with the most prestige and honor that I can hold it to the highest standard and the highest level that we can do it on Monday Night Raw. I’m hoping to elevate this championship along with myself along the way. I’m looking forward to it. I can’t wait to get to work, challenge myself and put myself against the best and defend this championship, this prestigious title that’s had so much history and so many great champions. I think we all should pay our respects and big shout-out to Sami Zayn. I’ve said it before, I’ve said it during this period of time that I’ve had with Sami. Sami has been on top for quite some time. He’s main-evented WrestleMania, he’s had the Intercontinental Championship multiple times, World Tag Team Champion. He’s had a Hall of Fame career. There’s no doubt he’s gonna be in the Hall of Fame one day. He gave me an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship when I was a new kid. No one really knew what I was capable of or what I was gonna do up here or any of that. He gave me an opportunity, he gave me a chance at the Intercontinental Championship, and I think I we all have to really respect that.”

Breakker cemented his reign in his first defense when he defeated Zayn on the August 12 edition of Monday Night Raw in a two-out-of-three-falls bout in the main event.
