Mariah May Promises To Use Everything She Learned From Toni Storm To Win Women’s Championship At All In
Mariah May wants to take everything from Toni Storm.
From protege to bitter rival, Mariah May capped off winning this year’s Owen Hart Cup Women’s Foundation Tournament by splitting open the head of the AEW Women’s Champion, Toni Storm to immediately let fans know that this was a side of May that unfamiliar fans were going to be very surprised by every time she stepped out to the squared circle.
During an interview with Daily Star, May brought up how she is going to use everything she has learned from her mentor to beat them at Wembley Stadium to get crowned the new AEW Women’s Champion.
“I mean, there’s no need to put the rivalry aside! I did learn so much from Toni Storm! I love Toni Storm. She gave me everything, from the UK indies when I stepped in to perform for her, to Stardom where she kind of paved the way for girls like me, all the way to AEW. I learned so much from Toni Storm, so much that I’m going to use all of that against her when I beat her at Wembley Stadium on August 25 when I beat her for the World Championship,” May said.
May and Storm will face off on August 25 at AEW All In where May will look to do what no one has been able to and that is defeat Storm to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion.
