Trish Stratus has respect for Zoey Stark.
During 2023 at Payback, Trish Stratus was preparing for the final match in her heated rivalry with Becky Lynch as the two women entered a steel cage match in the opening match to the PLE where Lynch was victorious against the WWE Hall of Famer before the good friend of Stratus, Zoey Stark, turned her back on the legend following the match.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Stratus was asked about her thoughts on working with Stark where she praised them and said that there is more to her story with the rising superstar.
“When Zoey got introduced, I was very pleased with that,” said Stratus. “The chance to influence someone else’s career, it means a lot. She was great to work with and she loved to learn–and there is more to the story between me and Zoey Stark.”
Stark and Shayna Baszler have recently found themselves in a new trio alongside Sonya Deville as the three women have been causing havoc among the women’s division since bursting onto the scene.
