Brody King (And the Rest Of Us): Hey Disco Inferno, Go F— Yourself
The views expressed in this or any other editorial are solely those of the writer and do not necessarily represent the views, thoughts, feelings, or sense of humor as any Bodyslam.net staff. They are opinions.
Brody King, the muscle behind AEW’s House of Black trio has a message for the former Disco Inferno.
His response came after Disqo appeared on Konnan’s Keepin’ it 100 podcast and alleged that members of House of Black were “troublemakers.”
His source? Trust me bro.
“Buddy Murphy re-signed, right? Okay, so I think they’re staying, which is kind of weird because all I’ve heard from sources is that they’re[ House of Black] a pain to deal with backstage. They’re constantly turning down creative. But I guess they didn’t want him going back to WWE, so they re-signed him. But I wonder, based on all the things we’re hearing—that these guys were a pain—that WWE really didn’t want them back. You know what I’m saying? They sound like troublemakers a little bit, so why would WWE want them back in a locker room that’s having massive success right now?”
H/T to Ringside News for the Transcription
It’s unknown who his “sources” are, but it’s believed by some to be either 1) nobody, or 2) Chris Jericho. That could not be confirmed, nor denied, at this time.
What was confirmed was Brody King’s reaction to Disco’s lamentations.
He put it pretty succinctly, so as not to leave any room for misinterpretation.
So, there’s that.
Unfortunately, King tagged the wrong Disco account but the message was still clear, and it’s one that is shared by most of the professional wrestling world, including both fellow wrestlers and fans.
Like, remember this one from Cody Rhodes?
Every few months, this tweet gets brought back up. And it is the perfect summation of Disco’s role in the world of professional wrestling.
But, for the majority of readers who don’t actually even know who Disco Inferno is, we’re happy to share an editorial we wrote last year, showcasing the man’s best matches and moments.
Anyway. House of Black is competing in front of 50,000 fans this weekend at Wembley Stadium, as part of a four-way ladder match for the AEW Trios Championships.
Disco Inferno will, presumably, be tweeting about how much he wishes Donald Trump would fart in his face.
