During last nights TNA iMPACT broadcast, Matt & Jeff Hardy teamed up to take on System members Moose & Johnny Dango Curtis.
Jeff went after JDC with a chair immediately.
Jeff nails JDC with Whisper in the Wind.
Jeff & Matt Hardy defeated JDC & Moose when Jeff nails JDC with a Swanton Bomb. Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards make their way out to beat down The System.
Santana and Joe Hendry make their way out for the save.
This set up a massive eight man tag team match that was made official shortly after the show went off the air when TNA took to their social media Twitter account to announce it.
-Eric Young will battle Steve Maclin
Last week, Maclin called out Eric Young and said he’s going to go through Young on his quest back to the World Title scene.
Last night, Eric Young was standing by with Gia Miller backstage talking about how he’s going to stop Hammerstone from being able to compete in Ultimate X at Emergence. Steve Maclin walked up and said that he’ll be watching.
Shortly after the show went off the air, TNA Wrestling took to their social media Twitter to make the match between the two competitors official.
Young and Maclin have been in each others crosshairs for a few weeks now, and hopefully this finally puts and end to the discourse. Both men competed in the 6 Man Elimination Match for the TNA World Title at Slammiversary, but have never stepped into the ring one-on-one, so this match will be a “first time ever” matchup.
