TNA X Division Champion Zachary Wentz Defeats NXT Star Wes Lee At NXT No Mercy PLE, Appears With Title Belt
Zachary Wentz has been busy this weekend. Friday night he took part in an Ultimate X match with five other competitors for the TNA X Division Title. Wentz won the match, and has therefore shown up to his previously scheduled NXT match against Wes Lee with the X Division title belt.
Zachary Wentz defeated Wes Lee when Wes tried to cheat, but Wentz tag team partner and fellow TNA star Trey Miguel emerged from the crowd and stopped Wes from using a chair on Zach. This allowed Wentz to get the upper hand and nail Wes with a UFO and capture the victory.
This is the second time in NXT history that a title from TNA has appeared on their show.
Jordynne Grace appeared at the NXT Battleground PLE with the TNA Knockouts World Title belt when she battled Roxanne Perez for the NXT Womenβs Title.
