The System kick off the show
Eddie Edwards says that he and Brian Myers are enacting their rematch clause for the TNA Tag Team Titles at Victory Road NEXT Friday 9/13.
Moose says if he and JDC win their match tonight against Santana and Joe Hendry that JDC will be an official member of The System, but if they lose then he’s out.
Spitfire make their way out. Dani Luna says that they talked to Santino about getting one more shot with a condition / if they lose then they split up as a team.
Gia catches Eric Young backstage ahead of his match with Jake Something tonight. Young says he and Maclin finally battled at Emergence and Maclin got the best of him. Eric said he and Jake know what each other brings to the table, but he’s going to go out and bring it tonight.
A clip played from Emergence where WWE Hall of Famer JBL showed up and whispered something to Nic Nemeth after his successful defense of the TNA World Title.
–Kushida vs Laredo Kid
Josh Alexander comes out and attacks Laredo Kid. Josh takes him out with a C4 Spike. Josh turns his attention to Kushida, who he puts into an Ankle Lock. A few security personnel make their way out and convince Josh to leave the ring.
Kushida grabs the microphone and says he wants Josh Alexander right now. Kushida runs up the ramp and grabs Josh to bring him back to the ring. The match is made official.
Both men go at each other in a first-time-ever matchup.

Kushida stumbles to the back holding his neck. Joe Hendry calls for medical assistance. Josh and Hendry exchange words as Hendry tells Josh he won’t forget what Alexander did to him at Slammiversary.
-Jordynne Grace Open Challenge
WWE NXT star Arianna Grace emerges from the back and states that she is the “liaison” between WWE and TNA. Arianna introduces NXT star Karmen Petrovic to answer the challenge.
Rosemary is on the upper balcony watching this match.

Post-match, Grace goes to the corner to celebrate. Suddenly, the lights go out. When they come back on, Grace is laid out in the ring with a pillow next to her head. Rosemary can be seen on the balcony laughing, leading fans to believe she was responsible for Grace being laid out.
Backstage, ABC are talking about defending against Myers and Edwards at Victory Road, however, AJ Francis and KC Navarro approach and say that they need to be worried about them next week and not focused on Victory Road just yet. ABC said they’ll take them on next week in a none-title match because they have to earn the title shot.

We’ll hear from new X Division Champion, Zachary Wentz
Wentz said he’s the highest of the high because he’s the NEW X Division champion.
Wentz is interrupted by Mike Bailey, who comes out to congratulate Wentz on his victory, but also says that he’s enacting his rematch clause at Victory Road.
The Good Hands come out and say that Hotch was really the star of the Ultimate X match, and both men attack Bailey and Wentz. A match between the Good Hands and Wentz/Bailey is made official.

Bailey hits the double knees to both Skyler and Hotch as they’re piled on top of each other.
-mmBailey and Wentz pick up the victory when Wentz lands a UFO CUTTER on John Skyler.
We get a clip of Rosemary and Wendy Choo from NXT this past Tuesday.
Steph De Lander makes her way to the ring to call out Matt Cardona about his recent behavior toward her and PCO.
Steph says Cardona doesn’t own her. Matt pulls out a piece of paper and says that she clearly forgot about the contract that she signed with him. Matt says he found her in Australia and brought her into the main stream.
SDL says that she worked hard to get where she is and that the contract means nothing to her. Steph balls the contract up and throws it on the ground. Cardona says that his lawyers have a copy of the contract and that he owns her and she has to do what he says.
PCO makes his way out. Cardona hides behind SDL and then climbs out of the ring.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are backstage and make it known that they’ll be taking on The System – Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers – that they’ll be keeping their eyes on the TNA Tag Team Title match at Victory Road.
-Eric Young vs Jake Something
Jake sends Eric flying through the air with a huge back body drop.
Eric Young def. Jake Something with a piledriver. Post-match, Young shakes hands with Jake and then turns to leave the ring. Jake attacks Young from behind, but Maclin runs down to make the save.
We see a clip of Joe Hendry at NXT this past Tuesday.
We get an official reveal that Heather Reckless has signed with TNA as a part of the Knockouts division, with an announcement that she’ll take on Gisele Shaw next week.
Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with the newest member of the Knockouts division, Heather Reckless. Heather says she’s here to make a name for herself. She’s then interrupted by Ash By Elegance, who says that she’d nobody and Gia should be talking to Ash…not Heather. Gisele then walks up and she exchanged words with Ash before slapping her.
-Moose/JDC vs Santana/Joe Hendry
Joe Hendry and Santana clear the ring as Josh Alexander makes his way out for commentary.
Josh says Hendry has to actually stop the act and wrestle once the bell rings, which is where he falls short. Meanwhile, Hendry and Santana get the upper hand in the ring.
Hendry gets the better of Moose, but Moose gets to the outside of the ring and uses Alisha Edwards as a shield, making Joe stop short.
Santana with some major momentum.
Josh Alexander takes out Joe Hendry on the outside, aiding in The Systems victory over Hendry and Santana. Santana checks on Hendry but is overcome by the numbers game.
Nic Nemeth was offsite watching the match on his phone. Nic had some harsh words for Moose ahead of their World Title match next Friday. Nic says that he didn’t get the pin the man he considered the best in the match at Slammiversary, so he was disappointed. Now he gets to right that wrong.
