Dave Bautista: CM Punk’s Potential As An Actor Is Unlimited, I Really Want To See More From Him

Batista would love to see more of CM Punk on the theater screen.

During a video interview with BuzzFeed Celeb, Batista was asked all sorts of questions, and when he was asked to name a current WWE Superstar that he believes has unlimited potential as an actor, he would go ahead and name off the Best in the World, CM Punk.

“You know who I think I really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he’d like to because he’s still heavily pursuing professional wrestling, but it is CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential in acting is pretty unlimited. I really want to see more from him in acting. I’d actually love to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think still his heart is in professional wrestling, and until he’s able to let that go a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully envelop himself in acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor,” Bautista said.

Punk is set to compete in his first Hell in a Cell back in over a decade when he battles Drew McIntyre, who is one of the stars in the new film, starring Dave Bautista called ‘The Killers Game’ which is currently in theaters right now.
