Damian Chambers Becomes First Ever NCG North American Champion; Zeeko Earns Shot At New Champion
The NCG North American Championship Tournament finals has come to an end and Damian Chambers has earned the distinction of being the first person ever to hold that title.
Chambers faced TNA superstar Ace Austin in the finals of the tournament at NCG “TRIUMPH” which took place on September 20th in LaSalle, Ontario. In a match that could’ve gone either way, it ended when Chambers hit low blow that was missed by the referee and rolled Austin up for a three count thus becoming the first ever NCG North American Champion.
It wasn’t long until Chambers learned who he will be defending his title against as Zeeko was able to win a thrilling fatal four way ladder match by pulling down the hanging briefcase that contained a guaranteed shot at the NCG North American Championship. Zeeko defeated TNA star Jason Hotch, Crash Jaxson & Dante Casanova to secure his guaranteed shot at Damian Chambers and NCG North American Title.
The match between Chambers and Zeeko for the NCG North American Championship hasn’t been made official as of this writing but an announcement is expected to be made in the upcoming weeks.
