Tony Schiavone: I Think It Would Be Impossible For AEW To Run A Show At Madison Square Garden Right Now
Tony Schiavone doesn’t think right now is the time to run a show at MSG.
On a recent episode of the What Happened When podcast, Tony Schiavone spoke about the time in 1997 when WWE (WWF at the time) had run a show at Madison Square Garden before giving his thoughts on whether or not All Elite Wrestling could run their show at the legendary venue.
“I don’t know if it’d be a dream come true for me. I think it would be great, but I think it’s impossible to get it done. Because of the stranglehold [WWE] has had on MSG,” Schiavone said.
There have been discussions about a future show being held at Madison Square Garden for All Elite Wrestling, but nothing has been laid out for when that could happen.
