Nicholas Jackson misses the Wednesday Night Wars.
During an interview with Justin Barrasso for his Undisputed Substack, The Young Bucks spoke about the weekly ratings wars they had with NXT when All Elite Wrestling first made its way onto the pro wrestling scene. Nicholas Jackson would go on to say that he misses those Wednesday Night Wars because of the fact that competition breeds excellence.
“Competition breeds excellence. One thing I actually kind of miss is when we’d battle it out weekly on Wednesday nights. It was exciting, seeing who would have the better night. It makes you feel more alive.”
The next time AEW and NXT are set to do battle is on October 8 when AEW airs Title Tuesday while NXT continues their big matches with their premiere on the CW Network.
