Callum Newman On Possible Tokyo Dome Opponent: Kenny Omega, why not?
NJPW star names dream opponents for Tokyo Dome.
In an interview with NJPW’s English department, NJPW star Callum Newman was asked about the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 19 and Wrestle Dynasty Tokyo Dome events being held by NJPW along with AEW, ROH, CMLL, & STARDOM. Answering who he would like to face if he were to make either card, Newman gave a handful of AEW stars.
Dude, Nick Wayne, I’d love to wrestle him again. Anthony Bowens, would love a match with him, another one with Kyle (Fletcher). Who else is there? Kenny Omega, why not?

Newman, member of NJPW’s United Empire faction, formerly wrestled in the U.K. with promotions such as RevPro and PROGRESS. He has faced both Wayne and Fletcher once in singles action, but yet to share the ring with either Bowens or Omega. Newman was brought to NJPW by AEW and NJPW star Will Ospreay in late 2023 and has since made an impact in the promotion by participating in the 34th G1 Climax tournament.
