Eric Young: Triple H Told Me The Original Plan Was To Pair Me As A Trio With Bray Wyatt And Bo Dallas

Eric Young was almost part of a trio with the late great Bray Wyatt, and his younger brother, Bo Dallas.

During a sitdown interview with Chris Van Vliet, Eric Young, who had signed with the WWE in 2022, despite never making an appearance on TV, was told that the original plan for Young was to pair him as a trio with the late great Bray Wyatt and his younger brother, Bo Dallas. Here is the full quote below.

“Yeah. I think the original idea was me, Bray, and Bo as a trio. That’s what was told to me from Hunter basically. Obviously, I’m gonna jump at that, I’m friends with both of those guys. Creatively, it would’ve been just an unbelievable opportunity. Working there, working on the main roster, wrestling all over the world with two guys that I get along with well. Obviously, a huge part of the show at that point, The Fiend and Bray was one of the most popular things at that time. They put up one of those viral videos and they’d be viewed within six hours by millions of people. Being a part of that was very appetizing and it’s kind of not in my wheelhouse but close enough to my wheelhouse where I would’ve enjoyed it. It would have been challenging but in a really cool way.”

Young soon asked for his release from the WWE due to not wanting to work with someone like Vince McMahon. Young has since returned to TNA where he has been enjoying his time there once again.
