Gunther: Triple H Is Very Disciplined When It Comes To His Long-Term Goals For Certain People In The WWE
Gunther is happy Triple H saw something in him from day one.
During an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther spoke about his recent run and how he doesn’t feel like he would be in the position that he is without some patience and discipline for the way Triple H handles long-term goals for certain people in WWE.
“He always supported me and saw something in me. In general, I think he is somebody that is very disciplined when it comes to his long-term goals with certain people and sticking to them. I don’t know if I would be here without ever being more or less connected with Triple H in that sense. All I can do is I can do me. I can do that better than anybody else. In my case, it’s, ‘Take it or leave it,'” Gunther said.
Gunther successfully defended his gold on the October 7 edition of Monday Night Raw against his arch-nemesis, Sami Zayn, who beat the Ring General for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania earlier this year.
