Mercedes Mone: I Would Love To Throw Down With Beyonce, I’d Put My TBS Championship On The Line

Mercedes Mone would love to battle Queen Bey.

During an episode of The Breakfast Club, the current TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone talked about celebrities that she would love to step in the ring with. Mone named Nicki Minaj as a possible idea for a tag team partner, before saying she would put her gold on the line if she stepped in the ring with Beyonce.

“I would like my tag team partner to be Nicki Minaj because I love her. Who would I love to wrestle? I might have to wrestle like a Kim Kardashian or even just Beyoncé to see if she can even throw it down. I would wrestle Beyoncé, the queen of it all. I would let her [beat me up]. I would let her do that. I would let her take the championship [laughs].”

Mone is not currently scheduled to defend her championship gold at AEW’s Wrestle Dream in Tacoma, Washington, however, she has been involved in a feud with Kris Statlander, a former TBS Champion.
