Muhammad Hassan: The WWE Crowds Were So Hot When I Came Out There, None Of My Promos Were Scripted
Everything that was said was from the heart of Muhammad Hassan.
On an episode of Maven’s YouTube channel, former WWE Superstar Muhammad Hassan spoke about his time in the company, noting that despite any thought that his promos were heavily scripted, they were not and all came from how Hassan felt.
“Our promos, they were never scripted. They would tell me something I need to hit and I’d go out there and hit it. They were so easy because if I ever got lost for a second, I just had to stop. The crowd was so hot the whole time, they would be chanting ‘USA,’ and I could gather my thoughts, and then I could go again.”
Hassan would be promised big wins over the Undertaker and Batista where he’d become the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, but due to a disturbing angle airing on the same day as the terror attacks in London. Hassan would lose to the Deadman and be released from the WWE.
