Je’Von Evans had the match of his life against Randy Orton on Tuesday’s NXT. But, things didn’t go as planned.
No Heat On Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans and Randy Orton were doing great all match, in the main event of Tuesdays episode of WWE NXT. But, nearing the end of the match, Je’Von Evans went for a corkscrew splash, and was supposed to be caught midair into an RKO. In theory, the spot would’ve looked awesome, but both men missed and the spot didn’t go as planned. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed that the two rehearsed the spot beforehand and despite the mishap, there was no heat on Je’Von Evans.
Je’Von Evans and Randy Orton rehearsed their spot extensively prior to the show, and there is no heat internally on Je’Von for the missed RKO.

Je’Von was seen apologizing to Orton in-ring after the match, but Orton didn’t seem to be upset, and raised Evan’s hand anyway. After all, it was a difficult spot to pull off!
