Claudio Castagnoli: Jon Moxley Has Definitely Found That Fire Again, He Needed Time Off To Reconnect

Claudio Castagnoli is happy to see a dangerous man back in the mix in AEW.

As Jon Moxley prepares to try and win the AEW World Championship, Claudio Castagnoli has been in the middle of everything between him and Bryan Danielson before things exploded, now, Castagnoli spoke to Rick Ucchino for The Takedown on SI where he said that Moxley has found the fire again and what he did need was time off to reconnect with himself and his family.

“I feel he needed that time off to kind of reconnect with himself and find his purpose, so to speak, or regain his purpose. I can’t speak for Jon, but I felt like the last couple months before he came back, you know we always have the ‘Be Real’ on our shirts, I didn’t really feel real. It felt like, okay, we’re just kind of going through the motions. Something was missing. With Jon, I can definitely tell that since he came back, he found that fire again,” Castagnoli said.

Moxley betrayed and plans to put Danielson away for good on the champions’ home soil in Tacoma, Washington at AEW WrestleDream for the AEW World Championship.
