Young Bucks Retain AEW World Tag Team Championships Against Private Party At WrestleDream
Matthew and Nicholas Jackson looked to remain the AEW World Tag Team Champions.
The night that Private Party had been waiting for has finally come. The biggest opportunity on the line to become champions for the first time in their All Elite Wrestling tenure.
Zay and Quen would slap the taste out of the Young Bucks’ mouths before Quen sent himself off the top of the entrance stage to kick off the momentum for Private Party.
The Bucks have been taunting Zay and Quen with comments about them dropping the ball and not being able to make it to the top sooner in their career, but when Private Party scored the upset over the Bucks again, that’s when both men knew they could grab the brass ring and become the AEW World Tag Team Champions tonight at AEW WrestleDream.
All four men put in the effort and their bodies on the line as they looked to put together the perfect game plan to walk out as the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and after spoiling the TK Driver and hitting the Gin and Juice, it left the entire arena, including Private Party with their jaws on the floor, not knowing what could be next.
In the end, after throwing everything and the kitchen sink, the Young Bucks looked to end the night for Private Party with an EVP-Trigger that would be kicked out of by Kassidy. Despite that, the Bucks were able to nail the TK Driver and retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against the team that has had their number on two occasions here tonight at AEW WrestleDream.
